Read the text carefully.

Hasan is one of new students at Institut KH. Abdul Chalim (IKHAC). He is from Mojoagung, a district in the area of Jombang, East Java. Among all students, he is the only one who comes from Jombang. He gets a scholarship from the association of Nahdlotul Ulama teacher (PERGUNU). At the institute, Hasan takes Islamic Economy (Ekonomi Syaria in Bahasa). He learns as many 15 different subjects from Monday to Friday. He studies at the institute from 3.30 – 8.30 p.m. In the morning, he joins pengajian kitab, an activity of learning Islamic holy book taught by a Kyai, at a mosque. In the midday, he learns the subjects of institute at dormitory. The activities go from day to day. Hasan is now the leader of his class. He is in charge of handling all matters related to his class needs. The institute mandates all class leaders to report classroom progress daily. Thus, he always goes back to dormitory late. In addition, since Hasan is also member of campus choir, he has to do rehearsal with his group twice a week. Consequently, he spends more time staying at campus than other students. |
